Born and raised in historic Philadelphia, I was inspired and influenced by things of the past from an early age. My childhood was shaped by my grandparent’s well-loved furniture and gift shop and time spent at their restored 19th century farmhouse—a space filled with artistry, craftsmanship, and heart. That foundation of imagination and artistic expression led me to New York City, where I studied acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. But although my early focus was performance, it was during those college years that I began to draw and paint.

In time, I was blessed with son James and my daughter Juliette. Motherhood has definitely been the most powerful love story of my life. And as they got older, I began to create more and more art and eventually discovered watercolor painting. I have always strived to infuse their childhood with bits of magic and it is when they experience wonderment and joy that I am at my happiest.

In an age where everything is digital and AI is beginning to shape how we live and create, my hope is that my art will bring people back back to a time when friends exchanged handwritten notes, spoke for hours on the phone and caught fireflies at dusk. My watercolor paintings are rooted in a world where magic is real, fairies may still exist, and magical kingdoms are just around the corner.

I hope that my artwork brings a little something enchanting to your day.
